POSITION TITLE: Personal Support Staff

Responsibilities + Duties

• Perform light housekeeping, including vacuuming, laundry, and linen changes.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.

• Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care.

• Prepare meals and snacks. May include grocery shopping.

• Assist with incontinence care.

• Assist with transportation needs.

• Provide care based on an individualized plan of care.

• Assist with budgets and money management,

• Assist with communications (e.g., sorting mail, accessing email, placing phone calls, making appointments),
   

Qualifications + Skills (Must Have)​

• Reliable transportation

• Valid driver’s license and insurance

• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds

Qualifications + Skills (Preferred)

• CPR Certification

• Prior home health experience or nursing home experience
